INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

                                       

Submission Guidelines

Papers must be written in English and formatted in the standard conference proceedings layout. Word or Latex Templates can be downloaded from the  IEEE Conference Publishing site. Please, be sure to use the template's  conference mode (LaTeX users).

Please check carefully the author information when uploading your prospective paper, since this information is used directly to create the Conference Program booklet. Submissions in hardcopy form or by fax or e-mail cannot be accepted.

After review, the authors of accepted papers will have the opportunity of changing details and introduce modifications suggested by the reviewers.

Notification of acceptance will be communicated to the authors via e-mail by November 1, 2025. Accepted papers will be published in the IMFW 2026 Conference Proceedings as well as in the IEEE Xplore. The final paper submission deadline is COMING SOON.

Authors of accepted papers will be requested to upload their final paper in PDF format via the paper submission website (detailed instructions for the PDF file preparation will be provided).

Authors are responsible for obtaining publication approval by their employer or sponsor and the copyright must be assigned to the IEEE. The direct link to submit the IEEE electronic Copyright Form can be found at the end of the final paper submission process.

 

CHECK LIST FOR AUTHORS

First submission:

• Prospective paper prepared in accordance with either the Word Template or the Latex Template, properly converted into a PDF file. 

Once a paper has been accepted:

• Compliance with IEEE eXpress PDF format checked (Use Conference ID: COMING SOON)

• Submission of final paper in PDF by COMING SOON. 

• Online Copyright Form properly completed and submitted by COMING SOON (will be prompted as part of the paper submission process).

 

EXPANSION OF THE CONFERENCE PAPERS INTO JOURNAL PAPERS

Authors of accepted IMFW 2026 papers will be encouraged to expand their conference paper into a journal paper, to be considered for a special issue of the IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques.

STUDENT PAPER CONTEST

A student Contest will be held during IMFW 2026. The contest is open to all students younger than 30 years old on the opening day of the conference; they have to appear as first author of an accepted paper. A Student complying with these conditions who wishes to participate in the contest is invited to send an email to the TPC Chair with the subject "IMFW2026: Student Paper Contest", including name and date of birth.


BEST PAPER AWARD

The “Best Paper Awards” will be given to the authors of the paper which will be selected among the papers presented in IMFW2026 by the award committee.


IEEE NOTICE ON PLAGIARISM

  “IEEE defines plagiarism as the use of someone else’s prior ideas, processes, results, data, algorithms, or words without explicitly acknowledging the original author and/or source.” This includes:
•Verbatim copying of another author's work.
•Paraphrasing, or rewording another author’s text but having the same meaning, is forbidden. (Paraphrasing a small section of a paper is permitted if it is properly cited.)
•Using data from another author’s paper must be properly cited.
•Artificial Intelligence generation of any part of a paper is forbidden.
